New results from a human intervention study have been published in a high impact scientific journal (Journal of Clinical Nutrition) and provide supporting evidence for the beneficial effect of olive polyphenols on bone health.
A daily high consumption of extra virgin olive oil, rich in polyphenols, is associated with a significant lower risk of osteoporosis-related fractures.
