Lactose grade for DPI

More and more patients around the world suffer from chronic respiratory diseases, so inhalation administration of active pharmaceutical ingredients is becoming increasingly important. To meet these needs, Meggle GmbH, the world's leading manufacturer of pharmaceutical Lactose, has expanded its portfolio by creating a new Lactose grade for dry powder inhalation (DPI).

Following InhaLac® 140, InhaLac® 150, InhaLac® 300 and InhaLac® 400, the company has developed the InhaLac® 180 grade characterised by a highly uniform particle size distribution (X10=5-15µm, X50=50-100µm and X90=120-160µm) and the flow and surface characteristics of a typical milled lactose.
